It is high time that we reserve a special place for our talented writers here at Swellendam High School.  Here you will find some of our students best work - a library  composed of recent Swellie-Author's work.  We showcase both Afrikaans and English writing and welcome many different forms of expression, whether it be short stories or poetry or prose... 

Tom Stoppard, a wise and wonderful author once wrote: 

“I don’t think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you might nudge the world a little or make a poem that children will speak for you when you are dead.”
